Busy with the "I" in ADDIE

Dear bloggers

I have a confession to make. It has been 3 days since my last blog. I know that, according the the ADDIE model, the one step must follow on the other step. But in practise I have found that I am constantly busy with all the steps at more or less the same time. Someone from the University Admin is going to help me install the software for the Outlook SMS service. JP did mention on the central blog that we can be lucky that we do have the support to help us with our "projects". My next step will also be to start a Safety blog for our laboratory, but I will have to find out 1st if our laboratory staff will have access to such a blog in our lab. Back the the drawingboard or "storyboard" as referred to when talking about the "design" part of the ADDIE model.

  1. I liked your ideas in your comment to Physiokeiller's recent post - now coming to grips with the teaching and leanring side of e-learning things.

Think of using the university's blog platform. It is on the network so will be faster, as well as no costs while at work.

go to http://blogs.sun.ac.za and apply for a blog there. It is Wordpress which is similar, a bit more tricky, but more cool than Blogspot/ Blogger.com.

  2. Well Reena, it is difficult no matter what. Starting with the planning, we do it wrong and the rest will follow same. What to say about implementation. But we have to do it, no matter what. At least you can even work on it at work, for we have to commit ourselves to deal with the tasks after working hours. I wish you the best. Hope to see all of us finish and done soon.
